Archery near Edinburgh – As Practised by Winton’s Ancestors

Why not learn the skills of Winton’s ancestors who would have practised at the Castle, ready to support their kings and queens?

The Royal Company of Archers used to hone their skills at nearby Archerfield, which, for many centuries, was part of Winton Estate.

Archery at Winton Castle usually involves target shooting which is always popular.

If you prefer something more active, we can organise a field archery experience for you. This could involve a challenging ‘wild animal hunt’ in our woods (shooting model animals not real ones!).

Archery at Winton has been designed for groups of 8 or more guests.

Archery is a great option as an outdoor activity at Winton, for corporate team building, stag and hen parties, and, of course, any budding Robin Hoods!
