Winton Wool-Gathering & More - By Louise Martin - 16th March 2024 (10am - 4pm)

Visit Winton for the day for our first wool gathering and craft fair, hosted by local wool enthusiast Louise Martin. Wander around the Castle and enjoy different local crafters from pebble art, pottery, embroideries, candles to knitted crafts, or relax in the Library while learning about  hand-dyed, hand-spun yarns, knits and weaving. Learn various cast ons and arm knitting.

Vendors on the day will include:

You’ll also have an opportunity to enjoy:

  • The luxury of relaxing and crafting in front of an open fire.
  • Wandering in the castle’s beautiful walled garden.
  • Light lunches and cakes in the Potting Shed Café.
  • Sample the local brew in the Castle cellar bar.

There’s plenty of free parking.

Admissions: £5 per person, payable on the door at Winton. There’s no need to pre-book.
