A Grand, Welcoming Events Venue Near Edinburgh
The warm atmosphere of Winton Castle has taken half a millennium to develop, making it a unique corporate events venue.
Winton Castle has been a popular exclusive use corporate venue for more than 25 years. This means that the castle and surrounding gardens are all yours to enjoy throughout your event. See our corporate events testimonials.
Our Scottish Renaissance castle is conveniently located just half an hour from Edinburgh city centre and the international airport, hidden away in tranquil East Lothian countryside.
You’ll be warmly welcomed by our burning log fires and experienced, enthusiastic but discrete home team.
Designed for Entertaining Company Events in the Castle or Outside in the Gardens
With its series of inter-connecting reception rooms, the castle was designed for entertaining in the Scottish Renaissance. Winton Castle is now a venue for gala dinners, company away days, barbecues (BBQs), conferences and meetings, product launches and other hospitality events.
Guests are welcomed in the Front Hall and are wowed by the striking, beautifully proportioned Octagon Room. From there, you can move through to the Drawing Room, Cabinet Room and intimate Library (King Charles Room), mingling in opulent but relaxed surroundings.
Winton’s flexible layout means you can choose from a wide variety of different formats:
- Up to 100 guests seated at round tables in the Dining Room.
- Buffets, dinners or lunches for up to 120 guests across the Dining Room and Cabinet Room.
- Drinks receptions for up to 200 throughout the castle.
The castle has a wonderful Walled Garden and Terraced Gardens for relaxed garden parties with a gazebo or marquee. Barbecues for up to 300 guests can be set up in our beautiful gardens, with a marquee.
You can throw in some team building activities with your barbecue (BBQ), hog roast or buffet. This is a great way to enjoy Winton’s gardens and cater for larger parties.
