The Potting Shed is a lovingly restored, former gardeners’ bothy which is integrated with Winton’s Walled Garden. It’s a uniquely versatile outdoor party venue for garden parties and good value corporate events.
With the same high standards as the castle , it is the perfect venue for business meetings, company away days, dinners and pop-up restaurants. Any events hosted at the Potting Shed can be combined with outdoor activities and a variety of catering options. It has direct access to Winton Castle’s manicured, 2 acre Walled Garden for guests to mingle and enjoy.
You could hire the Potting Shed to host:
- up to 30 guests for a dinner.
- up to 40 guests for a meeting or conference.
- up to 50 guests for a standing drinks reception or informal barbecue or buffet.
The Potting Shed has full bar facilities, restrooms and a paved, outdoor terrace on the edge of the extensive lawns in the Walled Garden. There’s a small meeting room with its own access, and a large car park nearby for guests.
You could also host an outdoor party in our Walled Garden with a marquee or gazebo.
Winton’s Walled Garden provides a beautiful sheltered, private events space, glorious with colour whatever the season. Enjoy our two acres of joy, grass to play on and flower borders which are a riot of colour and interest throughout the year.
