The sun shone on cue at the Haddington Show at the start of the summer holidays where Winton Castle shared a stand with sister company, Ogilvy Chalmers.
A record number of visitors enjoyed ‘Pimped-up Prosecco’ while surrounded by or watching Winton activities, such as Bushcraft (with wood carving), Quad Biking and off-road 4 x 4 Driving Experiences.
Estate diversification was the main theme at the event.
Ogilvy Chalmers, the firm of chartered surveyors and land agents, manages Winton Estate and played a key role in the Castle and Estate’s diversification and development into a busy events venue.
Sir Francis Ogilvy, owner of Winton Estate as well as Ogilvy Chalmers, has tried out new approaches to diversification at Winton before proposing them to other estate management clients.
