Heather Eadie marries Neil Gray at Winton HouseHeather and Neil Gray were married at Winton House in April with a wonderful humanist wedding ceremony in the drawing room. Their eighty guests had a wedding breakfast in the dining room, followed by a ceilidh from Callanish and a finale with fireworks.

“The night before the wedding, close friends and family had dinner in Winton’s 500 year old Vaulted Cellar, which is steeped in ambience and perfect for such a special occasion,” says James Maynard who hosted the wedding.

Many of the wedding party’s guests stayed overnight in Winton House itself, 5* Winton Cottage and 4* Wintonhill Farmhouse, which together accommodate 40 visitors.

Winton is still the family home of Sir Francis and Lady Ogilvy, and its beautiful conservation comes with a very welcoming, relaxed ambience. We call it ‘intimacy on a grand scale’.
