Torgeir and Susan Bring their Children Back to Their Fairy Tale Scottish Wedding Venue

Torgeir and Susan made a surprise visit at Winton Castle’s Spring Open Day to show their children the fairy tale Scottish castle where they were married back in 2013.

Travelling all the way from Norway, noone expected their return on Winton’s Spring Open Day, and they were amazed to bump into their minister who happened to be there too.

“We are so happy to see that the Winton wedding team are doing well, and it was a lovely surprise that we even got to meet our minister, Jock. He still remembers our owl ring bearer at the church!

“Our kids have heard their whole life, from our family and friends, of our fairy tale wedding and they were so excited to finally see Winton.

“The ocean of daffodils surrounding the castle was simply breathtaking!

Their photographer, Alexandra, captured their visit and took some of the “absolutely fantastic photos” shared here. She recreated their wedding photos which now include their children.

Arriving by horse and carriage in 2013, Torgeir and Susan’s romantic wedding has become a romantic legend at Winton Castle. The headline for our blog back then sumed up their very special wedding:

“At Winton, Love and marriage goes together like a horse and carriage”.
